Dear Friends,

It give me great pleasure and sense of satisfaction while releasing first issue of hardonian focus - An official organ of LHMC Alumni Association. This was a well deserved need of all hardonians which is now fulfilled. While going through the pages of this bulletin, you will find very useful information on anemia for day today practice and will get you motivated to do work in community.

Friends, I appeal to all hardonians to become life members so that our Hardonian association has more strength . Another task is to increase our membership which can be easily achieved if all the existing members add one more member to our association in coming year.

Website project has started taking its shape. Members are requested to suggest useful suggestions to improve our website for benefit of all hardonians.

Friends, this is our first communication to you as President. I seek your suggestions and cooperation to make all future activities more fruitful.

Our association is many many old but our membership number is poor. However together we have come a long way. LHMC Alumni Association has taken up Many issues, which have been dealt with meticulously in last 8-10 years. We have sensitized people against female foeticide and taken up Adolescent Health programme very actively. Thus our association has taken care of women as a whole from adolescent girl to menopausal women. Anaemia eradication and cancer detection programmes are becoming country wide movements. All this has become possible due to the untiring and selfless service of many of us.

Now, let this bulletin become a spokesperson for all of you. I invite you to share yur views and experiences through this bulletin . I also welcome your suggestion to further improve this bulletin .
